The Grade 7 students have been learning about the Human Body Systems during the 3rd quarter. They began the unit through interactive activities at home while learning online. The unit covered skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine, respiratory, circulatory, digestive, and excretory systems. Coming back to school gave the students a perfect opportunity to have an authentic learning experience.
In order to observe the entire body system, they cut the skin of a dressed chicken, took out the body parts and labelled each part, each and every student worked as a team player, filled with curiosity.

Our Alumnus, Nathanon Nusen (Karn), came to visit the seniors to give advice about university life. Karn graduated from NIVA last year and is now taking Bachelors in Economics at Thammasat University. The current seniors asked many questions and gained insights to prepare themselves for university. It was nice to have Karn show a lot of support to his younger friends at school.

Nursery explores the outdoorsSensory activities are important for the growing child.
The need to feel and touch things around them. Itโs part of their development. The nursery students often go explore around the school and asked to look, feel, and hear the environment around them. They touched leaves, looked for birds, and listened to the sounds around them. When theyโre happy, they learn a lot and retain the information longer.

Pre and Post Valentineโs Celebration.
Pre and Post Valentineโs Celebration
This year, Valentineโs Day was on a Sunday, but that didnโt stop our students from celebrating. Some celebrated on Thursday before Chinese New Year while the rest celebrated on the Monday after Valentine’s day. On Thursday, the “fan club” (aka Office Staff) of our Nursery Vince received special roses. The grade 1 students also gave out valentine cards to teachers and staff with love notes written on them. Then on Monday, February 15, Love was still in the air as the grade 12 students took song requests to be sent out studentsโ special crushes. The other secondary students sold Valentine-themed goodies that day. It was certainly a longer valentine’s day than last year.

Caring about studentsโ progress through updating parents online
The Elementary SPTC was held on February 5, 2021 through online Google meets. Parents were scheduled throughout the day to talk to the teacher online on updates about their childrenโs academic and behavioral performance for quarter 2. Even though it was not face to face, the conversations were still engaging and parents were able to get the feedback from the teachers. In the meantime, students were busy with special projects throughout the day where learning still took place.
