Students who are enthusiastic about coding or even computer science projects in general benefit from this event. Therefore, this event brings individuals with similar interests in the tech environment. Furthermore, all profits generated from this event will be donated to a charity known as “KIVA”, which specializes in lending to the underprivileged through micro-finance.
The best, most creative solutions receives prizes on the given theme in each of the different categories. These categories are the easy, medium and hard. The moderators assign different categories to the participants. Therefore, these tasks gives the students enough challenge, according to their coding experience and background. Lastly, companies will also be present at the event, giving all of the students the opportunity to learn more about their product. For impressive projects, some of the companies will offer internships to the more serious participants who shows potential.
