Pre and Post Valentine’s Celebration
This year, Valentine’s Day was on a Sunday, but that didn’t stop our students from celebrating. Some celebrated on Thursday before Chinese New Year while the rest celebrated on the Monday after Valentine’s day. On Thursday, the “fan club” (aka Office Staff) of our Nursery Vince received special roses. The grade 1 students also gave out valentine cards to teachers and staff with love notes written on them. Then on Monday, February 15, Love was still in the air as the grade 12 students took song requests to be sent out students’ special crushes. The other secondary students sold Valentine-themed goodies that day. It was certainly a longer valentine’s day than last year.
