General Description
Physical Education Teacher (PE) will lead, inspire, and promote student learning. He/she should be knowledgeable about student development. Additionally, he/she should have experience with collaborative curriculum designs and be well versed in unit development using backward planning. He/she will collaborate with department team members, school leaders, and the curriculum director to ensure that instruction meets the needs of each student.
Position Details and Responsibilities
- Organizes games and challenges that promote physical activity among children and young adults from kindergarten to high school. Their goal is to develop motor skills and physical development among younger children and proper exercise and eating habits among older children.
- Organizes and manages team sports.
- Adjust their curricula to adapt to children with disabilities or different physical abilities in order to create a positive experience for all students.
- Observe all their students and maintain discipline within the class.
- Keep a record of teaching materials, students’ progress, and outcomes in portfolios.
- Coordinate with the Principal and Homeroom Teacher to ensure the learning goals and objectives are met.
- Communicate with parents or guardians about their child’s academic and overall improvement.
- Interacts with parents, other teachers, and school administrators and creates progress reports for students.

Qualifications and Attributes
- Native English speaker or any nationality that can demonstrate equivalent proficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher major in Physical Education or any related field; at least 3 years of teaching experience.
- A teaching license is preferred.
- Experience in teaching American Common Core Curriculum.
- Physical fitness.

Assistant Registrar

Position Details and Responsibilities
Documents and Database
- Handles the issuance process for certification documents, e.g. transcripts, certifying letters, etc. through retrieving the student’s information from the computer database, printing by using the School’s format, and submitting to the principal/admin to authorize in order to provide students with certification documents for contacting with external parties.
- Prepares cumulative files for new students through filling application documents given by the Admission Committee in prepared folders, filing the folders in the cabinet by grades and registration numbers, and following up on missing documents from students in order to facilitate the retrieval process and ensure the availability of the student’s documents.
- Keeps student records by updating the grade level, address, and concerned information, filing the progress report given by each section, and removing out-of-date documents in order to ensure the availability of the student’s documents.
- Keeps computerized student records by entering new students’ information, updating grade levels, addresses, and test results, and printing registration forms for students in order to provide up-to-date students’ information.
Academic Support
- Assists the academic registrar with course planning and scheduling, pre-registration subjects (including subject loads & teacher loads & resources)
- Prepare a draft for the academic calendar
School Program
- Makes the after-school class forms for the teachers and students.
- Follows up on students’ attendance in specific programs.
General Duties
- Prepares the documents requested by the teachers and students.
- Follows up with the parents regarding the teacher’s concern

Teacher Assistant

General Description
A Teacher Assistant is primarily responsible for assisting the Homeroom/Subject Teacher with the teaching and learning that is happening in the classroom. The Teacher Assistant must therefore ensure the safety and well a being of all students under his/her supervision at all times. It is expected that the Teacher Assistant will work collaboratively with grade a level and/or department teacher(s) to maintain an environment where the students’ and teachers’ needs are met equitably. • Completes a variety of administrative tasks for the President/Head of Department/Principal including: managing an extremely active calendar of appointments; completing reports; composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential; arranging meetings and preparing agendas; and compiling documents for related meetings.

Subject Teacher

General Description
The Subject Teacher is responsible to the immediate supervisors in curriculum delivery and classroom management. Subject teachers are responsible to the Registrar and to the homeroom Teacher in reporting students’ quarter and semester grades. Additions or changes of duties will be discussed with the Director and the Principal for Academic Administration and amended accordingly.
Position Details and Responsibilities
Curriculum
• Prepare a course outline for each of their subjects and provide copies to the Level head, WASC office and the Principal for Academic Administration.
• Prepare their daily lesson plans.
• Compile a folder of emergency lesson plans and appropriate work for all their classes in the event that they do not arrive at school or are unable to send plans.
• Participate in Staff Development Seminars and share those experiences with colleagues as appropriate.
• Encourage students’ active participation in learning.
• Establish positive learning environments.
• Compile portfolios of student work along with appropriate directions and grading rubrics, and student quiz or test papers. If these are not going to be recycled.
• Regularly assess student progress according to set goals.
