Position: Elementary Homeroom Teacher
Department: Elementary
Report to: Head of Elementary/ Curriculum Coordinator
Responsibilities
- Teach, manage and monitor children in a classroom environment
- Teach core subjects in Elementary level assigned by the School
- Plan, create, prepare, evaluate and assign lessons, based on the school curriculum, US curriculum
- Prepare courseworks and assignments
- Grades paper and perform other administrative teaching-related duties if required
- Maintain grade books
- Implement various teaching techniques in class
- Develop incentives to keep participants in class
- Encourage creativity and enthusiasm in learning in students
- Assist students before and/or after school if they need extra help
- Utilize various teaching and curriculum resources
- Keep record of teaching materials, students’ progress and outcomes in portfolios
- Coordinate with the Head of Elementary and/or curriculum coordinator to ensure the learning goals and objectives are met
- Constantly update lesson plans and coordinate with the Academic Administrators
- Communicate with parents or guardians about their child’s academic and overall improvement
- Be responsible for children’s welling and safety and manage their behaviors in a classroom.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education, Elementary Education or equivalent.
- At least 1 year experience in teaching in Elementary level
- Teaching license is preferred.
- Child’s protection and safety training if preferred
- Passionate about educating children
- Be able to maintain creativity and friendliness in inspiring children’s learning and attention
- Flexible and cooperative with school activities and events
- Excellent command of English; native speaker or equivalent.
- Proficient in using Google Suite and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Job Description

Job Description
- Teach basic English skills including reading, writing and speaking.
- Compose lesson plans in order to successfully incorporate the full duration of each lesson.
- Execute lessons efficiently using different styles of teaching depending on the content.
- Instruct student about the structure and content of the English language.

- Prepare quarterly and yearly budgets reports and compare actual to budgeted results at the end of each periods
- Ensure the organization with the suitable profit for everyone
- Hiring and maintaining business management staff
- Support Principal for hiring and maintaining teacher and support staff
- Source and coordinate with the school's outsource companies and individuals
- Assist in any other duties assigned
Skills and Qualification:
- Male Preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business Management / Administration or related field.
- At least 3-5 years proven success in Business Development
- Experience in grounds and facilities management preferred
- Experience leading teams of different levels and backgrounds preferred
- Good project management and organization skills and a methodical approach to work.
- Excellent commercial (business), financial understanding and solution design
- Good command of spoken and written English.
